c0din's Lancer Playtest Lab
A downloadable Lancer Homebrew
Playtest Hut! Welcome to the Playtest Hut, where the playtest data lives. I like to release my stuff publicly for a little while so folks in the community can playtest it and gives their yays, nays, and trips reports.
Do please download the playtest lcp and do please let me know how it goes for you. If you want to see it all written out, you'll have to dl it and read up in COMP/CON. I might have some scattered writings here and there on my Substack relating to these goods, and there should definitely be something at https://c0din.substack.com/p/playtest-labs.
Otherwise? You'll just have to dl it and see for yourself. I can provide some short descriptions, but the full details are something you'll have to see for yourself.

Update the 1st
The first batch has two Horus mechs with full ecosystems. I'm playing around with flight mechanics, expanding the space that NHPs inhabit, and investigating how far you can push a heat-based offense. The Devil and the Pixie, respectively a Controller/Support and a Striker, are here for you to enjoy.
Try 'em out, and let me know how you feel about them. Definitely leave comments here and at my Substack, which is linked above.
Happy trails, pilot!

Install instructions
New to Lancer and/or COMP/CON? The file on this page is a .lcp file, which only works with https://compcon.app (technically, it's a zip file and works with programs that zip and unzip archives, but that's another show).
To use this file, download it then go to COMP/CON. Make a free account there (if you're completely new to COMP/CON, use the Log In button in the bottom-left of the main screen).
Next, you'll need the Content Manager. You can find that on the main screen or, if you're elsewhere on the site, via the three-dot menu in the top-right (click on "Manage Content").
Click over to Install Content, then click on the bar that says, "Select an .LCP file". Navigate to the file you downloaded. Open it or double-click it, then click Install. You're done!
You do the same thing whenever there's an update to the file on this page. Replace the file, then do the process again on COMP/CON. The only difference is that the button still say "Replace" instead of "Install". Have fun!
